Neon Chrome

Neon Chrome is a top-down twin-stick shooter built around repeated attempts to bring down the Overseer. Each run begins by choosing a character and entering the elevator, then fighting through procedurally generated levels packed with enemies, bullets, explosions, and destructible surroundings. Foes range from ordinary security guards to imposing boss hover tanks, while enemy behavior adds variety to the firefights.

The core loop is deliberately cyclical: fight, die, improve, and try again. Loot collected during runs supports persistent, RPG-like character development, while cybernetic enhancements provide a perk system for shaping progression. Players can discover and unlock new enhancements, abilities, and weapons as they continue their assaults. With endlessly generated stages and a fully destructible environment, each attempt offers a changing route through the tower and new opportunities to experiment with upgrades and combat strategies.
