How APKsDB works

How we check and compare Android game listings

APKsDB brings verified listings for the same Android game together in one place. We match the exact package, keep every source visible, and send you to the store or catalog you choose—we never host APK files.

How we keep comparisons trustworthy

01

Match the exact app

We use the Android package name as the primary identity. If a match is uncertain, we leave it out instead of combining similar-looking titles.

02

Show every source

Each listing names the source, source type, destination, and latest check time. If a detail is unavailable, we say so.

03

Keep store details separate

Versions, dates, ratings, and requirements can differ by store or region. We preserve those differences instead of forcing one answer.

04

Link to stores, not APK files

APKsDB does not host APK files. Every source button makes it clear that you’re continuing to another website.

The sources you’ll see

Official stores

Google Play and device-maker stores that distribute the developer’s Android listing.

Official repositories

A repository is treated as official only when strong first-party evidence supports that relationship.

Alternative catalogs

Established third-party catalogs are shown separately and never presented as the developer.

How ratings are compared

We convert scores to a five-point scale and weight them by the audience size each store reports. Store audiences may overlap, so totals are not unique-person counts.

Where automation helps

Automated tools collect structured listing details. AI may draft a missing localized description or overview from those facts, but it cannot make claims about safety, quality, testing, or gameplay.

Freshness and corrections

Check each source link and last-checked date for time-sensitive details. We keep uncertain matches out until we can verify them.
