DYSMANTLE

After emerging from a shelter years after the apocalypse, you find an island reclaimed by nature, filled with hostile creatures and no other people. Your goal is to uncover its secrets and find a way off the island while surviving its worsening dangers. Exploration takes place across a handcrafted open world, with mysteries to investigate both above ground and in the underground Tombs of the Old Ones.

Much of the island can be dismantled: with the right tools, you can break more than 99% of its objects into materials. Those resources support permanent crafting for weapons, tools, outfits, and trinkets, as well as outpost construction for claiming cleared areas. Survival activities extend beyond combat, letting you hunt or tame animals, grow crops, fish, and cook recipes that provide lasting stat and ability upgrades. Puzzles, resource gathering, creature encounters, and preparation come together as you gradually establish yourself on the island and work toward escape.
