Dead Cells

Dead Cells casts you as a failed alchemic experiment searching an ominous island’s sprawling, shifting castle for answers. Its roguevania structure combines interconnected exploration with roguelite replayability and permadeath: each attempt sends you through changing environments, where you fight minions and bosses, study enemy patterns, and try to survive long enough to advance. Death returns you to your cell, but each run offers another chance to learn and adapt.

Combat is fast, 2D, and built around a broad selection of weapons and skills. Progression is nonlinear, allowing you to unlock new levels and choose routes according to your current build, playstyle, or preference for careful exploration versus a quicker push forward. On mobile, the game includes Original and Auto-Hit modes, a redesigned interface, customizable button placement and sizing, swipe-to-dodge controls, and support for MFi controllers. Additional content expands the castle and its surrounding world with new biomes, enemies, weapons, outfits, bosses, storylines, and alternative soundtracks, including the Return to Castlevania, The Bad Seed, Fatal Falls, and Queen and the Sea expansions.
