Murderhill

Murderhill follows a mystery in a forest settlement that once hosted parties before becoming an occult site. Its residents and guests have vanished, leaving behind blood trails, dark portals, large footprints, strange shadows, letters, and other clues. As night falls, the player explores abandoned places and houses, solves puzzles, searches for the truth, and tries to survive encounters with mystical creatures, monsters, shadows, and bosses.

The survival-focused loop combines scavenging, crafting, combat, and preparation. Breaking objects yields resources for new tools and weapons, while improved clothing supports survival. Players can choose and upgrade firearms such as a pistol or machine gun, or develop magical abilities. An ancient book introduces rune-based occult magic, with runes of different rarities used to improve characteristics. Dangerous raids offer additional resources and powerful runes through distinct locations filled with enemies. Survivors can also be rescued and protected while they fortify a shelter, then accompany the player on resource-gathering trips and hunts. Progress centers on strengthening equipment, weapons, and runes while piecing together what happened during the silent night.
