Sally Face

Sally Face follows Sal, a boy with a prosthetic face, through an unsettling mystery in a small town. After a series of murders, Sal and three friends encounter clues that point toward something sinister beneath the town’s surface. Sal’s handheld Gear Boy lets him communicate with the dead, giving him access to their stories and adding a supernatural thread to the investigation.

The adventure combines narrative exploration with optional puzzles. Solving these challenges can reveal additional story threads, so progression unfolds through both the central mystery and discoveries tucked around it. The setting draws on the feel of 1990s cartoons and personal nightmares, while its cast includes bizarre characters and unusual touches such as ponies and headbanging. The game’s art, design, and music were handcrafted by a solo creator, shaping a distinctive presentation for Sal’s journey.
