Broken Sword 5: Episode 1

In Paris, a shooting at an art gallery, a robbery, and a murder draw American adventurer George Stobbart and French journalist Nico Collard into a dangerous investigation. Their trail leads to a stolen painting and a murderous conspiracy connected to mysteries older than written history, including the secret of the Serpent’s Curse and its rumored link to the Devil.

This story-driven adventure centers on exploration, observation, and puzzle solving. Players use logic to investigate situations, interact through a context-sensitive slide-and-tap interface, and follow the clues as George and Nico work to prevent a disaster. A built-in hint system offers help with especially difficult puzzles, while the characters’ voiced dialogue and dry humor shape the investigation. Episode 1 presents the opening portion of the mystery; Episode 2 continues with its conclusion. English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish speech are supported, with optional subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Russian.
