Afterplace

Afterplace is an open-world adventure set in a vast, mysterious forest filled with concealed treasures, secrets, creatures, and characters whose motives may be uncertain. You explore by choosing your own routes rather than following waypoints, with unpaved trails leading toward hidden labyrinths and dungeons. The forest’s discoveries are tucked into its less obvious corners, rewarding curiosity and careful wandering.

The core loop combines freeform exploration, combat, and interaction. Run through the woods, fight monsters, speak with suspicious characters, and tap objects directly to interact with or attack them. Movement and attacks work through touch anywhere on the screen, while two-thumb controls and a physical gamepad are also supported. The game adjusts to the selected play style, and progress saves continuously so you can stop and resume at your own pace. Its progression is centered on uncovering what lies beyond the visible paths, with secrets, treasures, and secluded areas providing reasons to keep exploring.
