Maneater - Shark RPG

You play as a shark pup trying to survive and rise through the marine ecosystem after a cruel fisherman dismembers you. The single-player, open-world action RPG follows a story-driven campaign presented against the backdrop of a reality TV show, with narration by Chris Parnell. Revenge drives the larger arc, but survival begins with finding resources and feeding on humans and wildlife to grow stronger.

The core loop combines exploration, hunting, combat, and evolution. You can battle varied wildlife, including other apex predators, as well as human hunters ranging from local troublemakers to the Coast Guard. Shark loot unlocks multiple evolutionary paths, letting you shape the animal around your preferred play style and develop it far beyond its natural limits. The world includes seven large regions, from Gulf Coast bayous and resort beaches to industrial docks and the open ocean. A full day-and-night cycle gives these areas a changing backdrop as you search for food, confront enemies, and grow from a small pup into a massive apex predator.
