Townsmen Premium

Townsmen Premium puts you in charge of a small medieval settlement and asks you to guide its growth into a prosperous empire. Gather ore, harvest farm crops, collect taxes, and develop a complex economy built around linked production chains. A range of town and production buildings supports expansion, while marketplaces, taverns, jousting fields, statues, monuments, and gardens help shape the settlement and its citizens’ happiness. Villagers follow their own daily routines as the town changes around them.

Managing growth also means responding to threats and changing conditions. Seasons and weather affect the settlement, while fires, disease, drought, and other disasters can disrupt its progress. Bandits may raid nearby, so you can activate the military features, construct barracks and guard towers, and recruit soldiers to protect the population. Progress is structured through diverse scenarios and challenging tasks, while an unrestricted sandbox mode provides open-ended city building. The game’s central loop combines resource gathering, production, construction, taxation, defense, and maintaining the well-being of the people under your rule.
