POINPY

POINPY is a vertical climbing action game about staying ahead of a blue beast while ascending through increasingly challenging areas. The player uses one-handed controls to bounce upward, flip through the air, avoid creatures, and collect fruit that can be turned into juice for the beast. Each attempt takes place across randomly generated areas, making the climb and its hazards vary from run to run.

Progress comes from reaching higher areas and earning abilities that improve future attempts. These include the octobub, which draws fruit toward the player, and the snail clock, which pauses time while a jump is prepared. The game also includes additional abilities to discover as the player continues climbing. A concealed area opens a puzzle mode, adding a different kind of challenge, while completing POINPY unlocks an endless mode for continued vertical runs.
