Last Extract

Last Extract places the player in a quarantine zone overrun by zombies, where each expedition revolves around three linked priorities: searching for supplies, surviving attacks, and escaping with whatever was recovered. Ruined city areas, abandoned hospitals, and underground fortresses contain weapons, ammunition, medkits, and other valuable resources, but every location carries uncertainty and danger.

When zombie swarms strike, the player uses scavenged weapons to fight back with precise attacks. Survival depends not only on combat, but also on deciding how far to push an expedition. Loot must be carried to a designated extraction point, turning the return journey into the central test of judgment. Players can continue searching for more resources or leave before a worsening situation costs them everything they have gathered. The game’s defining loop is this tension between greed and caution: explore deeper for greater potential rewards, then determine when it is safer to cut losses and extract alive.
