War Drone: 3D Shooting Games puts you in command of advanced combat drones and an AC-130 gunship during aerial military operations. From above 3D battlefields, you defend allied forces, provide close air support, and carry out airstrikes against infantry, rocket teams, machine-gun positions, armored vehicles, convoys, aircraft, drones, and fortified targets. Missions include wave-based battles, timed bombing runs, and escort operations, with enemy forces adapting to require different tactics.

The core loop combines precise shooting with tactical aircraft control. Players plot flight paths, lock onto targets, calibrate weapons, and account for heat, ammunition, and targeting drift while using 25mm Gatling guns, Hydra 70 rockets, and Hellfire missiles. Loadouts can be customized with weapons and countermeasures, while progression unlocks gear such as signal jammers, auto-tracking turrets, improved flight controls, and other upgrades through gear trees. Reinforcement mechanics add tanks, soldiers, airstrikes, EMP drones, cluster missile barrages, and drone swarms to larger engagements. Completing missions awards gold, cash, and rare upgrades, and an internet connection is required to play.
