Monster Hunter Now

Monster Hunter Now brings monster hunting into the real world, where players explore their surroundings to find creatures from the Monster Hunter universe. Habitats such as forests, deserts, and swamps influence which monsters appear, while AR Camera features can place them into the player’s environment. Hunts can be tackled alone or with nearby fellow hunters using simplified tap-based controls adapted for mobile play.

Each encounter is limited to 75 seconds, making timing and preparation central to the loop. Players forge weapons, craft armor sets, learn monster weaknesses, and use available elements to finish hunts within the limit. The game also supports continued tracking through Adventure Sync: Paintballs can mark monsters for later, while a Palico can tag passing targets even when the player is not actively playing. Marked monsters can then be brought back to the hunt, connecting exploration, equipment progression, and quick combat sessions.
