Little Inferno

Little Inferno places its adventure almost entirely in front of a fireplace during a harsh cold spell. The player feeds the flames with an unusual collection of objects, including toys, robots, credit cards, batteries, fish, nuclear devices, and tiny galaxies, then watches how they burn. The fire is both the central tool and the setting, turning each purchase and combustion into part of a story about what lies beyond the chimney and the wall.

Progress comes through the catalog of burnable items and the discovery of combinations. Pairing specific objects produces more than 50 possible combos, giving the player reasons to experiment with the fireplace’s contents rather than simply burning them one at a time. The original campaign is available alongside the Little Inferno: Ho Ho Holiday expansion, which adds a scary holiday story, a mysterious character, a catalog containing 20 new toys, new object properties, and additional combinations. An Infinite Yule Log provides a separate way to keep a fire burning for atmosphere, while the main campaign remains available to return to.
