A Dance of Fire and Ice

A Dance of Fire and Ice is a one-button rhythm game about guiding two orbiting planets along a path while maintaining their precise equilibrium. Each input advances their movement in time with the music, making a consistent beat more important than rapid note patterns. The game is deliberately demanding, and its calibration options let players use automatic setup or adjust timing manually; listening closely is central to play.

The main progression spans 20 worlds, with each one introducing different shapes and rhythms, from triangles to octagons and squares. Every world presents a hand-drawn fantasy landscape, beginning with short tutorial stages before building toward a full-length boss level. After completing the main content, players can take on a Speed Trial for each world and attempt especially fast bonus levels. Additional levels are also planned as part of the ongoing content. Each stage tests the same focused rhythm loop while changing the patterns, pace, and visual setting.
