Pocket City

Pocket City puts you in the mayor’s role, where you shape a city by placing residential, commercial, and industrial zones alongside parks, recreation spots, and special buildings. The core loop combines construction with management: expand the city, monitor cash flow, traffic, and happiness, and respond when crime or disasters disrupt daily life. Citizens, vehicles, animals, and animated buildings give the growing city a changing presence.

Progress comes through quests that award experience and money, with new building options becoming available as you level up. You can also unlock additional land featuring different terrain types, creating more room and variety for future layouts. Events range from block parties to tornadoes, adding occasional challenges and surprises to the planning process. The game uses touch-based controls and supports portrait or landscape play, as well as offline sessions. Cities can be uploaded to the cloud for transfer to another device or shared with a friend, while progression unlocks content through gameplay rather than microtransactions.
