Under Leaves

Under Leaves is a hidden-object puzzle set across forests, jungles, and the deep blue sea. Each scene asks you to search the artwork for items suited to its animal inhabitants, such as chestnuts for pigs, a caterpillar for a crocodile, or starfish counted in sequence. The game uses numbers rather than written instructions, keeping its interactions accessible without text-heavy explanations.

Progression takes place across nine locations around the world, with 29 animated animals to discover along the way. The core loop is deliberately relaxed: examine each hand-drawn watercolor scene, identify the requested objects, and uncover the creatures and details tucked into the environment. A soothing soundscape accompanies the search, while the changing habitats provide a range of settings from woodland to underwater spaces. The experience focuses on casual observation and collection rather than complex controls, with each location offering another illustrated animal setting to explore.
