Vạn Thắng Nam Đế

Vạn Thắng Nam Đế draws on Vietnam’s Twelve Warlords period, placing players in the role of a young leader who begins amid disorder and works to quell rebellions and unify the country. Players choose a starting background as a Farmer, Merchant, or Hunter, then develop a settlement by gathering resources, training troops, building fortifications, expanding territory, and eventually shaping an empire. Historic figures including Lê Hoàn, Trần Lãm, Phạm Bạch Hổ, and Nguyễn Bặc can be gathered as generals to lead forces into battle.

Combat takes place on an open real-time map where players can deploy troops, assemble forces, alter marching routes, attack, retreat, or arrange ambushes as conditions change. Armies use a three-part counter system: Infantry defeats Cavalry, Cavalry defeats Archers, and Archers defeat Infantry, making formation and unit selection central to each engagement. Alliances add a cooperative layer, allowing members to speed construction, provide military support, defend bases, and capture strongholds together. Expanding alliance territory also opens access to higher-level resources.
