Fortune Hunter: Golden Saga follows an expedition into the depths after the Explorer’s Guild discovers a map linked to buried riches. Earlier expeditions disappeared, leaving the underground filled with both ancient civilizations and danger. Players explore these ruins, search for valuable relics, and confront goblins while trying to recover the lost fortune.

The strategy loop combines exploration, combat, base expansion, and recruitment. Players rebuild the expedition by developing an underground kingdom, strengthening its defenses, and pushing back goblin hordes.
