Arena Breakout: Realistic FPS centers on high-stakes extraction combat across varied maps and modes. Players choose a faction, take on special missions, and decide how to approach each encounter: eliminate opponents directly, use stealth, or avoid combat. The main loop is to enter a battle zone, search for valuable loot, survive hostile encounters, and reach extraction; escaping successfully gives players a chance to profit, while failure puts survival and the haul at risk.

Season 13 adds Co-op Extraction in the Mist, a limited-time PvE mode set in the fog-covered Valley and Onotos Mountains. Teams work together against unknown enemies and urban-legend threats, with no PvP combat and a temporary double drop rate. The update also introduces a Liminal Space accessible through randomly appearing teleportation points in the Valley. Inside the mist, monsters can attack, prolonged exposure can make operators berserk, and cameras may provide unexpected benefits. Roadside vending machines and merchants offer support during extended excursions. Additional seasonal content includes new Gold Loot, increased drop rates, a Crowbar melee weapon, anniversary outfits, and other login rewards.
