Marooned on the shores of an infinite blocky world, you must gather resources and turn them into the tools, weapons, clothing, and shelter needed to survive. Explore, mine, farm crops, plant trees, hunt more than 30 real-world animals, and make traps for food and materials. The changing year brings summer, autumn, winter, and spring, while clothing can be tailored and combined in 40 different ways to protect against weather and attacks or change your appearance.

Construction ranges from practical shelters and custom furniture to elaborate machines. Build with pistons, create complex electric devices, blast through rock with explosives, and paint your surroundings. Horses, camels, and donkeys provide transport, while cattle can be herded and protected from predators. Werewolves interact with blocks and open doors, adding another hazard to the world. You can play alone or with up to three friends in split-screen multiplayer, share worlds online, and browse community content using search and filters. The 2.4 update also adds poplar trees, dirt slabs and stairs, and ground-shaking explosions.
