Progress through the story is tied to makeover challenges that reveal additional drama chapters and family secrets.

The core loop centers on sorting puzzles. Players scan shelves, find three identical items, and clear them from the board while working within a time limit. Completing objectives awards Coins and Gems, which can be spent on makeovers for Scarlett and other characters. Players can change hairstyles, makeup, outfits, and accessories to create different looks. When a level becomes difficult, boosters provide assistance with clearing obstacles and finishing the board.
