Pokémon Champions

Pokémon Champions centers on assembling a team of Pokémon and putting it into battles against other Trainers. Players can compete with people around the world in Ranked Battles, which are presented as more serious matches, or choose Casual Battles for a more relaxed way to play. Private Battles provide another option for facing family, friends, and other Trainers directly.

The game also accommodates players who have not previously played a Pokémon series title. Pokémon can be found for a team within Pokémon Champions, while linking with Pokémon HOME lets players bring in certain Pokémon they have befriended previously. This creates two supported ways to build a battle-ready roster: find Pokémon in the game or connect eligible past companions through HOME. Its main structure is therefore focused on team building and repeated battles, with Ranked, Casual, and Private formats defining how each match is played and who players face.
