Dawnfolk casts you as the ruler of a kingdom swallowed by darkness after obsidian monoliths fell from the sky. Guided by Lueur, a mythical fiery companion, you explore an uncharted medieval fantasy world and work to reclaim the land while protecting its people. The central loop combines exploration, resource management, and city-building, with choices that influence your settlement and the fate of its inhabitants.

Begin with a small group of tents and develop it into a thriving city in less than an hour. Alongside the broader work of expanding your community, skill-based minigames inspired by farming simulations and RPGs offer extra challenges and reward successful play with bonus resources.
