Build and manage a sanctuary of hope by treating patients, preparing herbal remedies, and expanding wards for the growing number of sick and desperate survivors. Upgrade homes to accommodate more people, while constructing production facilities and warehouses to support the settlement.

Survival depends on gathering and defense. Send survivors into the wild to collect timber, herbs, food, and other supplies, and secure outposts that help rebuild the town. When the Rat Swarm attacks, recruit and improve heroes, then place defensive towers to hold the line and challenge the Rat King. Beyond the sanctuary, assemble specialized hero squads to reclaim plague-ridden towns and abandoned ruins. Create lineups with different hero types, outthink opposing forces in battle, capture vital cities, and expand your territory. Your choices in managing resources, strengthening defenses, and deploying heroes shape the future of the people under your care.
