Animals gathered on floating ice will attack one another when different species are crowded together, and the player must prevent anyone from falling into the water. Each level presents one to three ice floes in distinct arrangements, from narrow strips and L-shaped sections to scattered fragments. The objective is to divide the ice completely so every animal is separated and all fighting stops before the level can be cleared.

The main puzzle loop is based on planning a limited number of slicing lines. Players study the layout, choose where to cut, and try to achieve total separation with as few cuts as possible. Although the rules are straightforward, changing shapes and positions create different spatial challenges that reward observation and strategy.
