Age of History II

Age of History II is a grand strategy wargame spanning humanity’s timeline, from the Age of Civilizations into the far future. You can choose a civilization ranging from a major empire to a small tribe, then guide its people through a campaign lasting thousands of years. The central goal is yours to define: pursue world unification or expand through conquest, balancing military tactics with diplomacy as borders and powers change.

A detailed world map includes numerous historical borders and varied terrain types, while a deeper diplomatic system supports peace treaties and other relationships between civilizations. Revolutions can disrupt your plans, and more detailed population diversity adds further context to the changing world. You can also watch the course of a game through end-game timelapses. Beyond the historical campaign, hotseat play supports as many players as there are civilizations in a scenario. In-game editors let you create historical or alternate-history scenarios, design civilizations and flags, and shape wastelands, allowing you to build a custom world and then play through its history.
